ST. LOUIS, MO - Kevin Jackson of The Black Sphere, and Joe the Plumber announce their Ebony and Ivory Two Nekkid Heads Tour, a 50-state tour with the first leg beginning May 5 in Richmond, VA, and culminating 10 days later on May 14 in Memphis, TN.
Jackson commented, “Much of what Conservatives do is in an echo chamber, so Joe and I decided to take our message to all 50 states, beginning in the Deep South.” Jackson jokingly added that it was his mission “to prove that America is the most tolerant country in the world, even for an inter-racial couple traveling through the Deep South.”
The duo will visit minority radio stations, minority churches and businesses. Jackson says that the objective of the tour is to create positive discussions in the minority community about what the grass roots movement represents by becoming part of the community for a day in each location.
Joe the Plumber confided, “I grew up around more black people than I did whites. In my school I was the minority, so doing this mini-tour with Kevin will take me back to my early days.” Wurzelbacher recently launched the new TV show, “Whaddya Know Joe?” that documents amazing Americans in a humorous and enlightening way, while shedding light on various issues being misrepresented by the media.
Jackson and Wurzelbacher will visit seven states and make ten tour stops on the first leg of the tour. They are sponsored primarily by grass roots organizations and those willing to help them get across the country over the next 18 months.
